Is Kindle Unlimited Right For You?

If you keep up with news surrounding the book world, then you should know that Amazon just released what is being called “the Netflix of ebooks” on Friday. As soon as I heard about it (on Friday morning), I immediately activated my 30-day trial. Below I will list a few questions that you all may be asking about the new service and do not hesitate to leave a comment down below if you have a question I did not cover. Let’s begin…

How much does Kindle Unlimited cost?

The service is provided with a subscription that costs $9.99 per month. Amazon does offer a 30-day trial and y0u won’t be charged until the 30-day trial is over. You can cancel the service at any time.

What type of reader would you recommend Kindle Unlimited to?

I would recommend the service for any reader who reads at least 5 books a month. Otherwise, the service will be a waste of money. If you are the type of reader (casual) who reads 1-4 books a month, it may not be worth it to you. If you are a book enthusiast and you spend a lot of money on books per month, then you would save money by subscribing if you don’t have a problem with not owning the books.

Is there a limit to the number of books downloaded?

There is a limit to the number of books you can download at once. You can only download 10 books at a time. If you read one book and you want download another in its place, you would have to return the book before you can download a new one.

How do I know if the book I want to read is available in Kindle Unlimited?

You will see “kindle unlimited” on the right under the price of the book.

How do I know if the book I want to read can switch to an audiobook?

A set of headphones will appear by the title of the book if it is available as an audiobook.

I hope I covered most of the questions you may have, if I missed something, please comment below with your question!
